Qigong - Introduction

Qigong (pronounced ‘chi gong’) is a form of mindful movement, suitable for everyone, that have been utilised in Traditional Chinese Medicine for centuries.

 

The gentle movements, combined with deep breathing, are designed to reduce stress and tension from the body and mind, increasing a sense of wellbeing and connection to oneself. 

Additional health benefits from practicing Qigong include an increase in immune function, balance and strength, self-esteem, improvement in sleep quality and mood, reduced stiffness and tightness in joints & a reduction in stress.

Slow Flow & Restore Yoga

Peddlers Group

The Peddlers Group meets every third Sunday of the month for a social bicycle ride, mainly on rail trails and shared pathways. There are choices of a shorter ride of 30km or a longer ride of 50 km and we always stop for refreshments along the way.  The photo is of riding on the O’Shannessy Aquaduct trail in Warburton.

 

The only cost is the Community Centre annual (family) membership of $10. ​
