Upper Beaconsfield Community Centre Inc., is a community driven organisation that evolved after the 1983 Ash Wednesday Bushfires as a means of community support.

We aim to provide high quality educational, social, recreational opportunities, support groups & referral services in a friendly professional manner & to respond to community needs wherever possible.

Our philosophy is to be equally accessible to everyone & to never lose sight of our unique grassroots community origin.

A one-off Annual Membership fee (January - December) is required from all our Centre participants. This is a family membership & covers all members of the household.

This membership covers the use of the Centre, insurance, amenities, tea/coffee etc.
​
This fee is not included in our course costs so is payable on your first enrolment for the year. Term 1 Membership is $20 and reduces by $5.00 per term.
​
Membership is also required for all Centre volunteers.

Some of our courses have concessions available to recipients of current Commonwealth Health Care Cards, Pension cards or Veterans Gold Cards.
Payment plans can also be arranged with the Coordinator for those experiencing financial hardship.

The Upper Beaconsfield Community Centre Inc., is managed by a voluntary Committee of Management (COM) which meets on a monthly basis. We welcome applications from community members interested in joining our COM.
