Monday iPad & iPhone Workshop

This is a relaxed workshop where you can just watch and listen, ask questions or join in with the discussions. You can join the group at any time. The kinds of topics we might cover are:
- How changing some simple settings will make your iPad work better for you
- Exploring some of the default apps
- How to find and download new apps
- Messaging & emailing
- Maps & navigation
- Hidden screens and what are widgets
- Problem solving
- Tips and tricks

The topics covered will be lead mainly by the participants, so come armed with a list of questions or problems and we will see how much we can get answered each week.

We anticipate this workshop being on at the same time each week (subject to numbers) so, once you have registered, you can join in on as many as you'd like to for as long as they are running.

Accessing this class requires a computer, laptop, mobile phone, iPad or tablet with the Zoom app downloaded and a free registered Zoom account.

Ask Me Anything Tech Related Workshop 14th May

This is your chance to ask those niggling questions, get a problem solved, get some advice or pick up some tips & tricks to make working with your technology devices easier and more productive. The sorts of topics I might be able to help with are:

 - Using mobile devices for navigation, calendar, reading books, etc.

 - Getting connected to NBN

 - Streaming service such as Netflix, Stan & Spotify

 - Computer, tablet and mobile phone buying, software or apps

 - Online security

 - Backups & syncing

 - Online shopping

 - Fitness trackers

 - Social media

 - Clouds

 - Online Banking

 - Comparing/understanding/choosing mobile, home phone, internet, data & plans

I generally can't help with any hardware/device faults, products or "paid for" or subscription software I haven't used or had access to, and some questions may require some research or more time than we have during this workshop, but I'll always do my best to help if I can.

The topics covered will be completely lead by the participants, so come armed with a list of questions or problems and hopefully we can get them all answered.
