A popular park with the locals, dog walkers and families as there is plenty of space to walk or run, playgrounds for the kids & a new Fitness & Play Zone. There's an abundance of birdlife and some gorgeous views across the lake to the hills beyond. In the centre of the park, away from the paths, there is a large grassed area with some smaller ponds, ideal if you want some peace and quiet but it gets very wet after rain.
From the starting point walk left, following the path around to the right and over the bridge then take the next path on the left which leads to another bridge. On the other side, keep following the paths to the right, parallel to the shore of the lake until you reach the jetty where there's always plenty of waterbirds waiting for free food.
Walk under the arbour and out to the footpath, turn right then cross over the road before the bridge, following the path until you can turn right down a little path near Edwin St. This short path can flood after heavy rain. At the main road footpath turn right, walking past a large wooden viewing platform, and eventually, cross back over Berwick Springs Promenade. Stay on the path running parallel to the main road (Greaves Rd) until you get to the raised rotunda. At this point, you can turn right and walk back keeping the lake to your left, or walk a bit further on and follow the path that runs beside Moondarra Dve.
The tracks are flat, nice and wide, small gravel or paved but there is very little shade.

There is street parking all along Moondarra Drive, park just down from the children's playground, near to the intersection of Abercrombie Street. Don't park on the grass on the park side of the road though, or you might get a parking ticket.
Distance: 4km
Toilets: There are none at the park yet, so go before you arrive. The closest is at Eden Rise Shopping Centre, either down the passageway near Spec Savers on the outside, or next to Coles on the inside.
